Description TextDate updated6607/12-2 S (Alve Nord) is a discovery in the northern part of the Norwegian Sea, 13 kilometres north of the Ærfugl Nord field. The water depth is 365 metres. Alve Nord was proven in 2011. The reservoir contains oil and gas in the Early Jurassic Båt Group and the Middle Jurassic Fangst Group, and gas in in the Lange Formation of Late Cretaceous age. In December 2022, three plans for development and operation (PDO) were submitted for a joint development of three discoveries in the Skarv area (Skarv Satellite Project), including Alve Nord. The development concept for Alve Nord is one 4-slot subsea template, tied-back to the Skarv production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO).28.02.2023 -
