Description TextDate updated6608/10-17 S (Cape Vulture) is a discovery in the northern part of the Norwegian Sea, five kilometres north of the Norne field. The water depth is 375 metres. Cape Vulture was proven in 2017, and delineated by appraisal wells 6608/10-18, 6608/10-18 A and 6608/10-18 B in 2018. The reservoir contains oil and gas in sandstone of Cretaceous age in the Lange Formation. The discovery is planned tied-back to the Norne production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO). The plan for development and operation (PDO) is expected to be submitted in late 2022.19.02.2021 -
