24/9-12 S (Frosk) is a discovery in the central North Sea, 28 kilometres south of the Alvheim field. The water depth is 120 metres. Frosk was proven in 2018, and delineated by appraisal well 24/9-12 A. The reservoir contains oil in sandstone of Paleocene age in the Heimdal Formation. A test production was initiated in August 2019. The development solution will be a subsea tie-back to the Alvheim facility via the Bøyla template. The plan for development and operation (PDO) was submitted in the end of 2021.
