Description TextDate updated16/1-29 S Symra is a discovery in the central North Sea, five kilometres northeast of the Ivar Aasen field. The water depth is 110 metres. The discovery was proven in 2018 and delineated in 2019 and 2021. The reservoir contains oil in the Zechstein Group of Permian age and in underlying basement rocks. In addition, oil was proven in intra Heather sandstone of middle Jurassic age. The plan for development and operation (PDO) was submitted in December 2022, and includes a 4-slot subsea template tied-back to the Ivar Aasen platform.17.01.2023 -
