Description TextDate updated6705/10-1 Irpa is a discovery in the Vøring Basin in the Norwegian Sea, 70 kilometres west of the Aasta Hansteen field. The water depth is 1330 metres. The discovery was proven in 2009. The reservoir contains gas in turbiditic sandstone of Late Cretaceous age in the Springar Formation, at a depth of 3200 metres. The plan for development and operation (PDO) was submitted in November 2022, and includes a 4-slot subsea template tied-back to the Aasta Hansteen platform.28.02.2023 -
