Description
Description TextDate updated35/12-2 S (Grosbeak) is a discovery in the northern North Sea, 23 kilometres south of the Gjøa field. The water depth is 360 metres. Grosbeak was proven in 2009 and delineated by appraisal wells 35/11-21 A and 35/11-21 S in 2018. The reservoirs contain gas and condensate in sandstone of Late Jurassic age in the Sognefjord Formation, and oil in sandstone of Late and Middle Jurassic age in the Fensfjord Formation and Brent Group. Various development solutions have been evaluated, and the likely solution is a tie-back to the Gjøa field. A plan for development and operation (PDO) is expected to be submitted in 2025.28.02.2023 -
