    Halten Øst includes six discoveries located in the Norwegian Sea just east of the Åsgard field. The water depth is 240-300 metres. The Halten Øst discoveries contain mainly gas and condensate in Lower to Upper Jurassic sandstone in the Tilje, Tofte, Ile, Garn and Melke Formations. The reservoirs are located at depths between 2,000 and 3,000 metres. The plan for development and operation (PDO) was submitted in May 2022, and includes five subsea templates that will be tied back to the existing infrastructure on the Åsgard field.
